Process
Our coating process
Five steps, always in the same order. This is what happens to your part and what we need from you to start.
From inspection to final check
01Step 01
Inspection
We check the parts and define the best solution.
We inspect every part first. We look at the material, the state of the surface and dimensions. Then we agree the method, color, finish and deadline with you. If something cannot be done the way you imagined, we say so right away, before the job starts.
02Step 02
Cleaning
Degreasing and cleaning the part before coating.
The metal is degreased and cleaned of oil, grease and the dirt picked up during manufacture and storage. A clean surface is what makes the coating bond and keeps it from flaking after a few years. We never skip this step, even when a part looks clean.
03Step 03
Coating
Powder coating with precise application.
Powder goes on with an electrostatic gun. We work so that the layer is even, on edges and in corners alike. The part is coated in the agreed RAL color and chosen finish, and we keep an eye on layer thickness while we work.
04Step 04
Curing
Controlled oven curing for maximum durability.
The coated part goes into an oven where the powder melts and hardens into a solid layer. Temperature and time depend on the thickness of the metal and the type of paint. If it is baked too briefly or too gently, the layer stays soft, so we watch this part of the job closely.
05Step 05
Quality check
Final inspection to ensure a flawless finish.
After cooling we check each part: color, gloss, evenness of the layer and edges. We compare it with what was agreed, and with your sample if you gave us one. Anything that is not right gets fixed before delivery. We pack finished parts so they arrive without scratches.
